The Head of Supply Chain spearheads the creation and implementation of the supply chain strategy, ensuring operational efficiency, cost management, and service excellence across both the airline and AMO divisions.

This encompasses sourcing and acquisition, stock control, supply chain operations, supplier coordination, and regulatory adherence.

This position is responsible for maintaining the continuous supply of aircraft components, materials, tools, equipment, and other critical services essential to the execution of aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul operations.

The preferred individual must possess extensive expertise in aviation supply chains, demonstrate exceptional leadership capabilities, and have a proven track record in regulatory compliance, including adherence to EASA, FAA, and other relevant standards.

Oversee and execute a wide range of critical duties, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and project timelines. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, while maintaining rigorous adherence to established protocols. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven solutions. Provide leadership in managing key stakeholders, fostering transparent communication, and driving accountability at all levels. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies, mitigating risks through proactive oversight and continuous monitoring.

Responsibilities encompass, though are not limited to, the following:

Formulate and execute strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing tactical and operational service delivery while achieving significant cost reductions.

Direct oversight and coordination of multifunctional teams encompassing procurement, warehousing, logistics, inventory management, and contract administration are required.

Strategically oversee sourcing initiatives and lead contract negotiations with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to secure favorable terms and conditions.

We procure Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) items and essential supplies from reputable vendors and strategic partners.

Foster enduring partnerships with suppliers while formalizing service-level agreements (SLAs) to ensure consistent performance and mutual accountability.

Oversee vendor performance metrics, adherence to contractual obligations, and risk mitigation strategies to ensure operational excellence and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include managing inventory planning and control for aircraft parts, components, consumables, and ground support equipment.

Ensure materials are procured and delivered promptly to prevent any Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations.

Enhance the efficiency of logistics and distribution networks while implementing and refining just-in-time delivery systems to ensure optimal performance and resource utilization.

Verify adherence to customs regulations, hazardous materials handling protocols, and trade control measures to maintain operational integrity and regulatory compliance.

Oversee the efficient organization, storage, and movement of inventory within the warehouse to maintain optimal logistics operations.

You will perform comprehensive market research to identify and evaluate potential suppliers, assess market trends, and gather competitive intelligence to support strategic sourcing initiatives and enhance supplier relationship management.

Facilitate and lead sophisticated negotiations as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.

Stay abreast of evolving industry trends and emerging innovations to ensure the airline supply chain maintains a competitive edge and operational resilience.

Partner with the Quality Assurance team to oversee non-conformance issues and coordinate material recall processes.

Maintain meticulous records and ensure full traceability for all materials and components utilized.

Ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures while aligning all activities with overarching long-term strategic goals.

The incumbent will oversee the coaching and mentoring initiatives within the team and contribute to process enhancement projects.

Consistently upholds and enforces established quality, safety, and security policies and procedures.

Formulate and oversee the annual budget for the Supply Chain Unit.

Perform any additional tasks deemed appropriate and necessary by the Technical Director.

Seeking a candidate with a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field, complemented by at least three years of hands-on experience in [specific industry/role].
