We are in search of a seasoned and strategic Head of Land Acquisition to oversee all aspects of land sourcing, acquisition, title verification, negotiation, and regulatory approvals for our organization. The successful candidate will demonstrate extensive expertise in real estate development, land administration, government relations, and property documentation, along with a demonstrated history of successfully acquiring viable lands for large-scale residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.
The ideal candidate will spearhead the company’s growth initiatives by pinpointing high-potential land opportunities, mitigating acquisition risks, and upholding adherence to all applicable regulatory and legal standards.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience is required. Proficiency in [specific software/tools] is essential. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are important. Familiarity with [industry standards/regulations] is preferred. At least [X] years of experience in [field/role] is mandatory. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities is expected.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Estate Management, Estate Surveying & Valuation, Urban & Regional Planning, Geography, Law, or a closely related field is required.
A Master’s Degree or relevant professional certifications would be considered advantageous.
Seeking candidates with 12 to 15 years of professional experience in land acquisition, real estate development, estate management, or property administration.
Requires significant hands-on experience collaborating with government ministries, agencies, land bureaus, or regulatory authorities.
Proficient in handling land documentation, processing titles, Certificates of Occupancy (C of O), Governor’s Consent, land excisions, gazette publications, survey plans, and land regularization procedures.
Demonstrates a strong track record in identifying, assessing, and acquiring high-value strategic land assets.
Skilled in adept negotiation, strategic stakeholder management, and cultivating robust professional relationships.
Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of property laws, land use regulations, and the intricacies of real estate market trends.
Capable of performing feasibility studies and land valuation assessments with proficiency.
Demonstrates exceptional leadership capabilities, analytical acumen, and adept problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and expertise in GIS/land mapping tools are desirable qualifications.
Professional affiliation with recognized bodies such as NI ESV, CARBON, NTP, or similar organizations is highly beneficial.
