A seasoned and strategic Head of Land Acquisition is required to oversee all aspects of land sourcing, acquisition, title verification, negotiation, and regulatory approval processes for the organization. The successful candidate will demonstrate extensive expertise in real estate development, land administration, government relations, and property documentation, alongside a strong history of successfully securing prime lands for large-scale residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.
The ideal candidate will spearhead the company’s growth initiatives by proactively sourcing premium land assets, mitigating acquisition-related risks, and guaranteeing adherence to all applicable regulatory and legal standards.
Requirements & Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Estate Management, Estate Surveying & Valuation, Urban & Regional Planning, Geography, Law, or a closely related field is required.
A Master’s Degree or relevant professional certifications would be highly beneficial.
With a minimum of 12 to 15 years of hands-on experience in land acquisition, real estate development, estate management, or property administration, candidates must demonstrate a proven track record in these fields.
Extensive professional experience collaborating with governmental ministries, agencies, land bureaus, or regulatory authorities is essential.
We possess extensive expertise in handling land documentation, including title processing, Certificate of Occupancy (C of O), Governor’s Consent, excision, gazette publications, survey plans, and land regularization procedures.
Demonstrated expertise in recognizing, assessing, and acquiring high-value land assets aligned with strategic objectives.
Skilled in negotiating effectively, managing stakeholders adeptly, and cultivating strong professional relationships.
Possesses an in-depth knowledge of real estate laws, zoning ordinances, and market trends, with a keen ability to interpret their implications and applications.
Proficiency in performing feasibility studies and conducting land valuation assessments is required.
Exceptional leadership abilities, analytical acumen, and adept problem-solving skills.
Strong candidates will bring hands-on experience with Microsoft Office Suite applications and familiarity with GIS/land mapping tools, which will be considered favorably during the selection process.
Proficiency in professional affiliation with organizations such as NI ESV, CARBON, NTP, or equivalent professional bodies is considered beneficial.
