FIT is in search of a forward-thinking, tech-savvy, and seasoned leader to spearhead its Digital Learning division and spearhead the institution’s digital learning transformation initiatives.
The Head, Digital Learning (LMS) will oversee the design, development, deployment, and ongoing enhancement of FIT’s digital learning ecosystem.
This position will drive strategic initiatives in learning technology, digital content creation, instructional design, curriculum advancement, and Learning Management System (LMS) oversight, ensuring the delivery of exceptional, scalable learning solutions and experiences.
Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of duties encompassing strategic planning, project management, and operational oversight to ensure organizational objectives are met efficiently and effectively. Develop, implement, and monitor policies, procedures, and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and maintain high standards of quality across all business functions. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including senior leadership, department heads, and external stakeholders, to align initiatives with broader company goals and foster a culture of innovation and accountability. Lead initiatives that optimize resource allocation, reduce operational costs, and enhance productivity while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal governance frameworks. Serve as a key liaison between executive leadership and other teams, providing data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to support informed decision-making and long-term growth.
Digital content creation and instructional design expertise are essential for developing engaging and effective learning experiences, requiring proficiency in authoring tools and a deep understanding of pedagogical principles to craft high-quality educational materials.
Spearhead the conceptualization and creation of dynamic digital learning content and comprehensive e-learning programs.
Design engaging educational materials by leveraging contemporary authoring platforms and multimedia solutions to enhance interactivity and learning outcomes.
Develop and maintain learning content that adheres to internationally recognized digital learning standards and industry best practices.
Instructional Design and Learning Methodology encompass the systematic development of educational content, ensuring alignment with learning objectives through innovative strategies. This role involves crafting engaging, accessible materials tailored to diverse audiences, leveraging pedagogical best practices and cutting-edge technologies. Responsibilities include conducting thorough needs analyses, designing interactive learning experiences, and evaluating the effectiveness of instructional programs to drive continuous improvement. Proficiency in learning management systems, multimedia tools, and adult learning theories is essential, along with the ability to collaborate with subject-matter experts to create high-quality, impactful training solutions.

Seeking a seasoned professional with a proven track record in the relevant field, supported by a minimum of five years of hands-on experience. A bachelor’s degree in the specified discipline—or an equivalent combination of education and work experience—is required. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools, along with excellent communication and teamwork capabilities, is essential. Prior leadership or project management experience is highly desirable.
A Bachelor’s degree in Education, Learning Technology, Instructional Design, Computer Science, Human Resources, or a closely related field is required, with a Master’s degree serving as an additional benefit.
With a minimum of 10 to 12 years of hands-on experience in the fields of Digital Learning, Learning Technology, LMS Management and Administration, Instructional Design, or E-Learning Development, you will bring a robust background to this role.
Experienced in overseeing enterprise Learning Management Systems and digital learning environments.
Mandatory professional certifications are required for this position.
Prospective candidates are required to hold pertinent certifications and active memberships in organizations such as the ATD (Association for Talent Development), the Learning & Performance Institute (LPI), or possess credentials like Certified Instructional Designer, Moodle Certification, Articulate Storyline Certification, Adobe Captivate Certification, or Project Management Certification (including PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum, or Agile). Additionally, relevant certifications in Learning Technology or Digital Learning are also essential for consideration.
Demonstrates proficiency in key competencies essential for the role, including strategic thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication. Exhibits strong leadership capabilities, adaptability to changing environments, and a results-driven mindset. Possesses excellent organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
