Responsible for managing the full credit lifecycle, encompassing risk evaluation, loan approval, and recovery procedures.
Proactively evaluate, quantify, and oversee credit risks to ensure the integrity and performance of the loan portfolio remain consistently strong.
Oversee the comprehensive assessment and continuous evaluation of the loan portfolio’s volume and creditworthiness.
Monitor critical portfolio metrics, oversee stress testing methodologies, and ensure adherence to established credit limit thresholds to proactively mitigate risk exposure.
Lead and guide the credit department team, spanning both the head office and branch locations, while cultivating their professional growth and maintaining high performance standards through targeted training and development initiatives.
Strictly enforce compliance with all applicable regulatory mandates, corporate governance standards, and internal policies to uphold organizational integrity and mitigate risk exposure.
Design and deploy systems to produce management information and regulatory reports efficiently and accurately.
REQUIREMENT
Earn a Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline.
With a minimum of four years of specialized experience in credit management and sales within the financial sector, candidates should bring a proven track record of navigating complex financial landscapes and driving revenue growth through strategic decision-making.
Distinguished leadership qualities, exceptional communication abilities, and strong interpersonal competencies are essential.
Proven capacity to perform effectively in high-pressure environments while consistently delivering results within rigorous time constraints.
