FIT is in search of a forward-thinking, tech-savvy, and seasoned professional to spearhead its Digital Learning division and propel the organization’s digital learning transformation initiative.
The Head, Digital Learning (LMS) will oversee the strategic design, development, deployment, and ongoing enhancement of FIT’s digital learning platform, ensuring an innovative and effective educational ecosystem.
This position will lead the strategic direction of learning technology, digital content creation, instructional design, curriculum innovation, and Learning Management System (LMS) administration to ensure the delivery of exceptional learning experiences and scalable learning solutions.
Oversee a diverse set of critical tasks encompassing strategic planning, operational execution, and performance monitoring to ensure organizational objectives are achieved. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance efficiency, compliance, and productivity across all departments. Serve as a key liaison between senior leadership and team members, facilitating transparent communication and alignment with company goals. Lead cross-functional initiatives, fostering collaboration and innovation to drive continuous improvement and sustainable growth. Analyze key performance indicators, financial data, and market trends to inform data-driven decision-making and strategic adjustments. Mentor and develop high-performing teams, providing guidance, resources, and opportunities for professional advancement. Ensure adherence to industry regulations, ethical standards, and company policies while maintaining a strong commitment to risk management and corporate governance. Represent the organization in external engagements, including partnerships, stakeholder meetings, and industry conferences, to reinforce brand reputation and business relationships.
Digital Learning Content Design & Instructional Authoring: This role focuses on the development and structuring of engaging, interactive educational materials tailored to diverse learning needs. Responsibilities include creating, evaluating, and refining digital content, ensuring alignment with curriculum standards and learner objectives. The position also demands expertise in instructional authoring tools and technologies to produce effective, scalable learning experiences. Candidates should possess strong skills in educational design principles, multimedia integration, and assessment methodologies, along with a keen understanding of accessibility and user experience in digital learning environments.
Spearhead the creation and implementation of compelling digital learning content and comprehensive e-learning programs.

Instructional design and learning methodology encompass the systematic creation of educational experiences through the application of specialized strategies, techniques, and technologies. This involves analyzing learner needs, designing engaging content, developing assessments, and implementing iterative improvements to optimize learning outcomes. Proficiency in instructional design models, such as ADDIE or SAM, as well as learning theories like constructivism or behaviorism, is essential. Familiarity with e-learning authoring tools, learning management systems (LMS), and multimedia integration is also required. Strong collaboration with subject-matter experts (SMEs), project managers, and stakeholders ensures alignment with organizational goals and learner requirements.

Minimum of five years’ hands-on experience in software development, with a proven track record in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable systems. Proficiency in multiple programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++ is essential, alongside expertise in cloud platforms like AWS or Azure. Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset are critical for success in this role.
A bachelor’s degree in Education, Learning Technology, Instructional Design, Computer Science, Human Resources, or a related field is required. Possession of a master’s degree represents an additional advantage for candidates.
With a minimum of 10 to 12 years of hands-on experience in Digital Learning, Learning Technology, Learning Management System (LMS) Management & Administration, Instructional Design, or E-Learning Development, the ideal candidate will bring a robust background in creating and managing innovative digital learning solutions.
Proven expertise in administering enterprise-level Learning Management Systems and digital learning ecosystems is required.
Professional certifications are essential requirements for this position, as they validate the candidate’s expertise and commitment to ongoing professional development in their field of specialization.
Applicants are required to hold valid certifications and professional memberships from recognized organizations such as the Association for Talent Development (ATD), the Learning & Performance Institute (LPI), or other credentials like Certified Instructional Designer, Moodle Certification, Articulate Storyline Certification, and Adobe Captivate Certification. Additionally, candidates should possess Project Management Certification, including PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum, or Agile, as well as relevant Learning Technology or Digital Learning certifications, to ensure alignment with industry standards and best practices.
