Confidence Bank is actively seeking a Deposit Mobilization Agent to deliver on targeted sales objectives and expand the bank’s liability portfolio. The role involves onboarding new retail and SME depositors, nurturing ongoing client relationships, and fostering a savings mindset to ensure the necessary liquidity for micro-loan disbursements.
In this position, you will significantly contribute to growing our deposit portfolio by acquiring new clients, nurturing existing relationships, and implementing strategic deposit initiatives. This role is well-suited for individuals with a robust background in financial services and a proven history in client relationship management or deposit mobilization.
Oversee the full spectrum of operational duties, ensuring seamless execution of daily tasks and long-term strategic initiatives. Develop and maintain efficient workflows, optimizing productivity while adhering to organizational policies and industry standards. Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders to align objectives, resolve challenges, and drive continuous improvement across all processes. Implement robust performance metrics to evaluate progress, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions as needed. Foster a culture of accountability, mentorship, and professional development to cultivate a high-performing team environment. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety protocols, and quality assurance benchmarks at all times.
Skilled professionals will engage in proactive outreach and relationship-building activities to acquire and integrate new retail clients, MSMEs, cooperatives, and high-net-worth individuals, primarily through on-site visits and strategic networking initiatives.
Engage in the promotion and sale of savings accounts, current accounts, and fixed or term deposit products to consistently achieve established monthly performance targets.
Act as the main liaison for depositors and oversee the retention of funds until they reach maturity.
Empower unbanked and underbanked communities by clearly explaining the advantages and reliability of formal micro-banking solutions.
Strict observance of Know Your Customer (KYC) regulatory guidelines is mandatory throughout the onboarding process.
Monitor and analyze lead generation, conversion rates, and deposit volumes, then generate and submit daily or weekly sales reports to the Spline Manager.
Highly proficient in English, both written and verbal. Demonstrated expertise in project management methodologies, with a strong background in Agile or Scrum frameworks. Advanced proficiency in tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar project management platforms. Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues and implement effective solutions. Excellent teamwork and communication capabilities to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
A bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related disciplines is required.
With a minimum of one to three years of hands-on experience in marketing, sales, or relationship management within a microfinance bank, fintech, or commercial banking setting, you will bring valuable expertise to this role.
You must demonstrate outstanding abilities in communication, persuasion, and negotiation to excel in this role.
Possesses extensive expertise in the local small and medium-sized enterprise landscape or established relationships with regional trade associations and cooperatives.
