Confidence Bank is actively seeking a Deposit Mobilization Agent to spearhead target sales initiatives and expand the bank’s liability portfolio. The incumbent will onboard new retail and SME depositors, foster long-term client relationships, and promote a savings-driven culture to ensure liquidity for micro-loan disbursements.
You will play a key part in expanding our deposit base through client acquisition, relationship management, and strategic deposit initiatives. This role is ideal for someone with a strong financial services background and a track record in client relationship management or deposit mobilization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Through field visits and networking, establish connections with potential retail clients, MSMEs, cooperatives, and high-net-worth individuals to facilitate their onboarding and integration.
Drive sales of savings accounts, current accounts, and fixed/term deposits to consistently achieve predetermined monthly targets.
Act as the main liaison for depositors and guarantee that funds remain invested until reaching maturity.
Educate individuals who lack access to banking services or have limited access to financial institutions about the advantages and safeguards provided by formal micro-banking.
Strictly adhere to Know Your Customer (KYC) regulatory guidelines throughout the onboarding process to ensure compliance with all applicable standards.
Monitor sales metrics, including lead generation, conversion rates, and deposit volumes, and prepare and submit daily or weekly reports to the Spline Manager.
REQUIRED SKILLS
A bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a closely related discipline is required.
Seeking candidates with 1 to 3 years of demonstrated expertise in marketing, sales, or relationship management, specifically within a microfinance bank, fintech, or commercial banking setting.
Exceptional proficiency in verbal and written communication, persuasion, and negotiation is required for this role.
Proven expertise in navigating the local small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) landscape, coupled with established relationships within relevant trade associations and cooperatives.
