Confidence Bank is actively seeking a Deposit Mobilization Agent to spearhead sales initiatives and expand the bank’s liability portfolio. In this role, the successful candidate will onboard new retail and SME depositors, nurture existing client relationships, and promote a culture of savings to ensure the liquidity necessary for micro-loan disbursements.
You will play a pivotal role in growing our deposit portfolio by acquiring new clients, nurturing existing relationships, and executing strategic deposit initiatives. This position is well-suited for individuals with a robust background in financial services and a proven history in client relationship management or deposit mobilization.
Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of duties encompassing project management, team leadership, and strategic planning to ensure operational excellence and alignment with organizational objectives. Develop and implement innovative solutions to address complex challenges, while fostering a collaborative environment that promotes productivity and professional growth. Act as a liaison between stakeholders, senior management, and cross-functional teams to facilitate seamless communication and decision-making. Monitor key performance indicators to evaluate progress, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed to maintain high standards of efficiency and effectiveness.
Engage in proactive outreach and strategic networking to cultivate relationships with prospective retail clients, MSMEs, cooperatives, and high-net-worth individuals, ultimately facilitating their seamless onboarding through field visits.
Drive the promotion and sale of savings accounts, checking accounts, and fixed or term deposits to consistently achieve stringent monthly targets.
Act as the main liaison for depositors and guarantee funds remain available until maturity.
Provide financial literacy training to individuals lacking access to banking services, emphasizing the advantages and safeguards of regulated micro-banking solutions.
Ensure full compliance with Know Your Customer (KYC) regulatory requirements throughout the onboarding process.
Monitor leads, conversion rates, and deposit volumes, and prepare daily or weekly sales reports for submission to the Spline Manager.
REQUIRED SKILLS
A bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a closely related discipline is required.
With a strong track record of 1 to 3 years in marketing, sales, or relationship management, experience within a microfinance bank, fintech, or commercial banking setting is essential.
Outstanding ability to articulate ideas clearly, influence stakeholders effectively, and secure agreements through strategic negotiation.
Possesses an in-depth understanding of the local Small and Medium-sized Enterprise (SME) landscape and maintains established connections with regional trade associations and cooperatives.
