Job Summary
In this role as Cybersecurity Expert, you will fortify the organization’s security framework across infrastructure, applications, cloud environments, access management, incident response, vendor risk, and compliance, all while facilitating secure business expansion.
Responsibilities
Craft and execute comprehensive cybersecurity strategies, risk management frameworks, and security controls throughout the organization to safeguard critical assets and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Oversee cloud, infrastructure, and identity security initiatives, with a focus on AWS environments, IAM configurations, MFA enforcement, access governance frameworks, and privileged access management protocols.
Collaborate closely with engineering teams to advance secure software development methodologies, oversee vulnerability management processes, and spearhead application security initiatives.
Lead incident response initiatives, oversee security monitoring protocols, conduct thorough investigations, and develop comprehensive business continuity strategies to ensure organizational resilience and operational stability.
Provide assistance with evaluating vendor risks, ensuring compliance obligations are met, conducting security audits, and implementing governance initiatives throughout the organization.
Seeking a highly organized individual with exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Must possess proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as experience with project management tools. Requires a minimum of three years of relevant work experience in an administrative or coordination role, with a proven ability to prioritize deadlines and handle confidential information with discretion. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred.
A bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required.
A minimum of five years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, security engineering, or application security is required, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked in fintech, banking, payments, lending, cryptocurrency, or other regulated sectors.
Proficiency in AWS security measures, including IAM, SSO, MFA, vulnerability management, network security, encryption, API security, and incident response, is essential.
Professionals should possess a proven track record in deploying robust security measures, including control mechanisms, monitoring frameworks, and development methodologies that prioritize security within live operational settings.
