Job Summary:
We seek a skilled, meticulous, and forward-thinking Technical Support Officer to oversee and sustain our organization’s IT and technical infrastructure. The successful candidate will oversee the maintenance of hardware, software, training, and network systems, deliver technical assistance to staff and customers, enforce robust data security protocols, and ensure seamless technology operations across all departments—all while upholding stringent information security standards.
Oversee a diverse range of critical tasks involving strategic planning, operational execution, and team leadership to ensure organizational objectives are met efficiently and effectively. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance productivity, quality, and compliance with industry standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement, streamline processes, and drive innovation. Monitor performance metrics, analyze data trends, and provide actionable insights to senior management to support informed decision-making. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement while managing resources, budgets, and stakeholder expectations. Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and ethical guidelines in all operational activities.
Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners to ensure optimal functionality and performance.
Oversee and ensure the continuous operation of the organization’s IT infrastructure, encompassing servers, internet connectivity, and email systems.
Offer expert technical assistance to staff and customers regarding hardware and software problems.
Investigate and resolve system and network issues by identifying and correcting hardware and software faults.
Professional on-site installation, configuration, setup, troubleshooting, and delivery of both hardware and software solutions are provided to the client to ensure seamless operational deployment and optimal system performance.
Handle incoming calls, documenting each interaction thoroughly, and escalate issues to appropriate support vendors and clients as necessary.
Maintain detailed records and logs of all repairs, fixes, and maintenance activities, while also overseeing and documenting the maintenance schedule to ensure accuracy and accountability.
When necessary, deliver personalized training sessions on an individual basis.
Safeguard the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of data, network access points, and backup infrastructure.
Create and manage new user accounts and profiles, while resolving any password-related issues that may arise.
Oversee software license management and implement updates to maintain compliance with established IT policies.
Suggest and execute enhancements to existing IT systems and operational workflows to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
Build and maintain strong partnerships with IT vendors and service providers, ensuring prompt support and maintenance services are delivered as needed.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline is required.
Seeking candidates with at least two to three years of hands-on experience in IT support or systems administration roles.
Proficient knowledge of computer systems, mobile devices, operating systems (Windows and Mac), and network infrastructures (LAN and WAN) is essential.
We seek a candidate proficient in diagnosing and resolving challenges related to hardware malfunctions, software glitches, and network disruptions.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, antivirus software, and backup solutions is required.
A foundational understanding of cybersecurity practices and data protection principles is required.
Demonstrated proficiency in problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills is essential.
Must demonstrate strong capabilities in both autonomous and collaborative work within a team-driven setting.
Proficiency in enterprise resource planning systems or similar business management software is required.
Possesses fundamental familiarity with web and server management duties.
Certifications including Compton A+, Network+, or the Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCIT) are highly beneficial.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is a fundamental requirement for this position.
