Oversee and execute critical duties, ensuring seamless operations and alignment with organizational goals. Lead strategic initiatives, fostering innovation and efficiency across departments. Prospect and cultivate new business-to-business (B2B) relationships with manufacturers in the biscuit, cookie, candy, and confectionery industries.

We distribute high-quality, food-grade raw materials and functional ingredients such as corn starch, high fructose corn syrup, liquid glucose, caramel, flavorings, food colors, and food additives.

Serve as a reliable supply partner to procurement and production teams while cultivating and expanding existing client relationships.

Craft and implement a comprehensive territory sales strategy that is fully aligned with the organization’s revenue and volume objectives.

Deliver comprehensive product demonstrations and engage in detailed technical dialogues with procurement professionals, operations supervisors, and quality control specialists.

Responsible for engaging in discussions to finalize pricing structures, procurement volumes, and contractual terms for supply arrangements, ensuring alignment with the organization’s profitability targets.

Collaborate with logistics, quality, and supply chain teams to guarantee timely delivery and adherence to food safety regulations.

To assess competitor actions, raw material market trends, and commodity price fluctuations, and subsequently deliver strategic recommendations to management.

Seeking a candidate with a minimum of five years of experience in a related field, complemented by a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is essential, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The ideal applicant will demonstrate excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, and the capacity to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Prior experience managing projects or leading initiatives is highly desirable, as is familiarity with compliance standards and regulatory requirements.

A Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required.

Requires 4 to 6 years of hands-on B2B sales expertise, preferably within food ingredients, commodity trading, or food raw material distribution sectors.

Proven track record in providing solutions to food manufacturers, with a focus on businesses in the biscuit, cookie, confectionery, or packaged snacks industries.

Proficient in the classification and functional applications of food-grade ingredients within baked goods and confectionery manufacturing processes.

Proficiency in food safety regulations, adherence to NAFDAC mandates, and familiarity with pertinent quality standards, including HACCP and ISO 22000, is essential.

With a proven track record in overseeing industrial procurement workflows and fostering cross-functional buyer engagements—including procurement teams, R&D specialists, and production stakeholders—this role demands expertise in managing complex purchasing cycles.
