The chosen candidate will craft premium men’s garments with exceptional precision and independent proficiency.
Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity, managing and leading a team of professionals, and implementing strategies to achieve organizational goals. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional departments to streamline processes, monitoring performance metrics to identify areas for improvement, and fostering a positive work environment that encourages innovation and accountability. Additionally, the position requires developing and executing training programs, maintaining compliance with industry regulations, and representing the organization in external meetings or events as needed.
Create unique clothing designs, progressing from initial ideas to finished garments.
Develop comprehensive production-ready sketches with meticulous attention to detail.
Perform ongoing market research to stay updated on the latest trends, color palettes, fabric developments, and innovative techniques.
Deliver fully completed garments in a punctual manner to meet established deadlines and production schedules.
Manage fittings and execute required pattern modifications to ensure proper fit and alignment.
The ideal candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, along with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in a comparable role. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is essential, as is the ability to analyze complex data sets and generate actionable insights. Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset are required to engage effectively with cross-functional teams. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail are equally important to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.
A relevant qualification such as a Higher National Diploma (HND), Bachelor of Science degree, Technical Diploma, or an equivalent credential is required.
A minimum of one to ten years of experience in tailoring is required.
Sketching by hand with a high level of proficiency is essential.
Capable of meeting stringent deadlines and efficiently juggling several projects simultaneously.
High levels of creativity are essential, along with meticulous attention to detail.
Proficient in conveying information clearly and fostering positive client relationships through exceptional customer service expertise.
Ability to promptly understand and accurately interpret design specifications.
