Job Summary

Cooks prepare and present meals according to established recipes, quality benchmarks, and food safety regulations. They enhance kitchen workflows by delivering meals promptly, upholding sanitation protocols, and fostering an outstanding dining experience for guests.

Oversee and execute core duties to ensure seamless operations, including managing team performance, optimizing workflows, and aligning projects with organizational goals. Develop and implement strategies to enhance productivity, while fostering collaboration across departments to drive consistent results. Monitor key performance indicators, address operational challenges, and champion continuous improvement initiatives to maintain high standards of efficiency and accountability. Additionally, serve as a liaison between leadership and staff, providing clear communication and actionable feedback to support strategic decision-making and sustainable growth.

Implement effective strategies to reduce food wastage by ensuring accurate portioning and adhering to proper handling techniques.

Ensure all kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations are consistently sanitized and well-maintained.

Provide support in tracking inventory levels and processing stock requisitions.

Assist in the efficient execution of kitchen tasks during periods of high customer volume to ensure seamless service delivery.

Adhere strictly to all organizational policies, health mandates, and established operational protocols.

Collaborate seamlessly with Chefs and kitchen staff to uphold efficient restaurant functionality.

Seeking a candidate with a minimum of five years of experience in a related field, along with proficiency in industry-standard software and tools. The ideal applicant will hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or possess an equivalent combination of education and professional experience. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Prior leadership or project management experience is highly desirable, along with a track record of delivering measurable results.

A minimum of a Senior Secondary Certificate of Education (SSC) is required.

Professional culinary training or certification would be highly beneficial.

Requires at least one to two years of professional experience in a commercial kitchen, restaurant, hotel, or another food service establishment.

Desirable candidates will have experience preparing diverse local and continental dishes.
