We seek a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Branch Accountant to assist the Branch Accountant in overseeing daily financial activities and ensuring the precision of accounting records within the branch.

The successful candidate will support financial reporting, reconcile accounts, process transactions, and conduct compliance activities, all while maintaining meticulous documentation and ensuring the integrity of financial processes.

Conduct operational duties to ensure smooth workflow, including managing day-to-day administrative and technical tasks. Oversee project execution to meet deadlines and quality standards while coordinating with cross-functional teams. Analyze data to identify trends, optimize processes, and generate actionable insights for continuous improvement. Collaborate with leadership to align initiatives with organizational objectives and drive strategic decision-making. Maintain compliance with industry regulations and internal policies to mitigate risks and uphold ethical standards. Provide timely progress reports to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout project lifecycles.

Provide support in ensuring the precision of financial records and handling daily accounting transactions with diligence.

Assist in compiling and producing daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports for management to review.

Accurately balance and verify cash balances, bank transactions, customer accounts, and all other financial records for consistency and accuracy.

Provide support in overseeing branch expenditures and verifying adherence to established company financial guidelines and protocols.

Accurately process invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and other relevant accounting documents.

Perform inventory and stock-related financial reconciliations as needed to ensure accuracy.

Ensure the accurate organization and maintenance of financial records in compliance with audit and regulatory standards.

Work alongside various departments to validate the precision of financial information and transaction records.

Facilitate both internal and external audit processes by preparing and supplying the necessary documentation and reports.
