Job Summary:

The Insurance & Claims Officer will oversee the administration and management of all corporate insurance policies, guaranteeing timely renewals, meticulous documentation, and streamlined claims processing. This position requires collaboration with insurance brokers and providers to secure optimal coverage and expedite claim resolutions in alignment with organizational operations.

Oversee a diverse array of critical tasks, including managing daily operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory standards, and fostering collaboration across departments to achieve organizational objectives. Lead and mentor teams, providing guidance and support to enhance productivity and professional growth while maintaining high performance standards. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize workflows, reduce inefficiencies, and drive continuous improvement. Monitor key performance indicators to assess progress, identify areas for enhancement, and implement corrective actions as needed. Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders, clients, and partners to strengthen business ties and ensure alignment with long-term goals. Prepare and present comprehensive reports to senior leadership, summarizing performance metrics, challenges, and strategic recommendations for informed decision-making.

Maintain a current and comprehensive record of all company insurance policies, including but not limited to motor, plant & machinery, contractors’ all risk, and group life coverage.

Monitor policy expiration dates meticulously and initiate renewal procedures promptly to prevent any gaps in coverage.

Build and maintain collaborative relationships with insurance brokers and carriers to facilitate efficient policy placement, seamless renewals, and timely endorsements.

Coordinate all insurance claims and oversee their progress diligently to guarantee prompt processing and resolution.

Compile and provide all necessary documentation for claims, including incident reports, photographs, estimates, and any other relevant materials.

Track claims progress and deliver periodic status reports to management.

Verify that all insurance certificates and documents are systematically organized and readily available for retrieval.

Provide assistance to project teams in managing insurance-related documentation and ensuring adherence to compliance requirements.

Examine insurance policies meticulously to verify compliance with both organizational procedures and contractual agreements, ensuring seamless alignment between policy terms and operational requirements.

Provide support in validating insurance prerequisites within contractual documents and formal agreements.

Prepare and submit regular reports detailing insurance coverage specifics, renewal timelines, and the current status of all claims for review.

Requirements:

A bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline is required.

Seeking candidates with 1 to 3 years of professional experience in insurance administration, claims processing, or a comparable field to support operational workflows effectively.

Proficiency in collaborating with insurance brokers or firms is considered beneficial.

Professionals should possess foundational knowledge of corporate insurance policies, including motor, asset, and project-related coverage.

Accomplished organizational abilities and meticulous record-keeping capabilities are essential.

Proficient in communication and diligent in follow-through are essential, along with the ability to maintain clarity and consistency in interactions and task completion.

Demonstrates strong expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, with a particular emphasis on advanced Excel skills.
