Job Summary

We are actively seeking qualified Christian Medical Doctors specializing in gynecology to join our team, with availability to work on a rotating shift schedule. The position requires two physicians who can alternate between either day and night shifts or adopt a weekly rotation system, such as one week on duty followed by one week off.

Responsibilities include managing day-to-day operations to ensure seamless workflow efficiency, overseeing team performance to maintain productivity and quality standards, and coordinating with cross-functional departments to facilitate project completion. Additionally, the role involves developing and implementing policies and procedures to enhance operational effectiveness, analyzing performance metrics to identify areas for improvement, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company guidelines. The position also requires fostering a collaborative work environment, mentoring team members to support professional growth, and addressing any operational challenges proactively to mitigate risks. Strong leadership, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting are essential for success in this role.

Clinical Care: Deliver thorough outpatient consultations, oversee antenatal and fertility clinic operations, and deliver specialized medical services for obstetric and gynecological patients.

Conduct obstetric and gynecological surgeries, such as Caesarean sections, fibroid removals, ovarian cyst excisions, appendectomies, and other related procedures, either autonomously or in a supportive capacity.

Patient Care Coordination: Oversee daily ward rounds, coordinate pre- and post-operative care, and uphold the provision of exceptional, patient-focused services.

Provide round-the-clock on-site medical care during designated shifts, ensuring rapid and accurate responses to obstetric emergencies.

Maintain precise medical documentation, engage in clinical audits, and coordinate with nursing and laboratory teams to enhance patient care outcomes.

Responsible for addressing patients’ medical concerns by reviewing their histories, conducting diagnoses, administering treatments, providing counseling, and making referrals as needed.

Responsibilities include ordering laboratory tests and analyzing their results to draw meaningful conclusions.

Upholding strict confidentiality and ensuring impartiality in all professional interactions and decision-making processes are essential responsibilities of this role.

Collecting, documenting, and safeguarding confidential patient data, including examination outcomes, medical histories, and clinical reports.

Our responsibilities include delivering babies, conducting necessary surgical procedures for patients, and performing routine clinical ward rounds.

Providing patients with clear, detailed explanations of medical procedures and prescribed treatments.

Establishing and maintaining effective communication channels with healthcare providers in both community settings and hospital environments.

By collaborating with fellow healthcare practitioners, we deliver comprehensive health education initiatives to enhance community well-being.

Achieving the patient satisfaction benchmarks established by the hospital.

Evaluating and deliberating on novel pharmaceutical products alongside pharmaceutical representatives constitutes a key aspect of this role.

To stay informed about the latest advancements in medical research, innovations in treatments, and emerging medications.

Providing oversight and evaluation of the performance of resident physicians, nursing staff, and medical trainees is a key responsibility.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is mandatory. Three to five years of hands-on experience in software development, particularly in backend or full-stack development, is required. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++ is essential. Familiarity with databases, APIs, and cloud services is a must. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting are critical. Prior experience with Agile methodologies is preferred. Excellent communication skills for documenting and presenting technical solutions are necessary. Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines is advantageous.

Hold an MBBS degree from a recognized and accredited medical institution.

Full registration with current license from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) is required.
