We invite applications for the position of CRS & History Teacher, requiring a committed professional who demonstrates strong passion for student success and growth. The ideal candidate will be tasked with designing and instructing dynamic lessons in Christian Religious Studies (CRS) and History, while fostering students’ intellectual advancement, ethical understanding, and personal character.

Oversee and execute critical operational duties to ensure organizational efficiency and effectiveness, encompassing strategic planning, resource allocation, and performance monitoring. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align objectives with company-wide goals, fostering an environment of accountability and continuous improvement. Lead high-impact initiatives, analyze data-driven insights to inform decision-making, and implement best practices to optimize workflows. Act as a liaison between departments to streamline communication, resolve challenges proactively, and maintain compliance with industry standards and internal policies. This role demands a results-oriented mindset, exceptional leadership qualities, and the ability to adapt to evolving business demands while driving measurable outcomes.

Deliver instructional sessions in alignment with established teaching frameworks, prescribed lesson plans, and institutional guidelines.

Utilize dynamic, student-focused instructional strategies to deliver impactful lessons in Christian Religious Studies (CRS) and History, ensuring an engaging and effective learning experience for all students.

Develop comprehensive lesson notes, assignments, projects, class activities, tests, and examination materials in strict compliance with established curriculum standards.

Evaluate students’ learning advancement and offer constructive feedback regarding the efficacy and comprehensiveness of instructional strategies and teaching plans.

Collaborate with the Remedial Teacher to identify students with special learning needs and formulate tailored support strategies to address their unique requirements.

Ensure classroom conduct is upheld by implementing approved disciplinary measures for minor infractions and immediately referring significant disciplinary matters to the Sectional Head for resolution.

Offer compassionate pastoral care while fostering the holistic growth of students in their academic pursuits, moral foundations, emotional resilience, and social interactions.

Accurately and promptly evaluate and grade student assignments, tests, projects, and examinations.

Consistently track and document students’ academic progress, behavioral conduct, and accomplishments, ensuring timely reporting of observations.

Develop and sustain open, professional communication with parents or guardians to provide updates on students’ academic performance and overall well-being as needed.

Foster the development of positive values, ethical conduct, responsible citizenship, and strong leadership skills among students.

Enhance teamwork, collaboration, and contribute to fostering a positive and supportive school environment.

Engage proactively in staff meetings, school events, professional development sessions, and extracurricular activities to contribute effectively to the school community.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree in Christian Religious Studies, History, Religious Studies, Education Arts, or a closely related field is required.

The TRCN certification is required for this position.

A minimum of four years of teaching experience in a secondary school setting is required.

Possesses a robust understanding of the Curriculum and Resource System (CRS) as well as the History curriculum, ensuring alignment with educational standards and instructional objectives.

Proven ability to maintain effective classroom discipline and convey information clearly to students.

Proven capacity to motivate students both intellectually and ethically.

Highly developed interpersonal and professional attributes are essential for success in this role. Candidates must demonstrate exceptional integrity, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning. Strong problem-solving abilities, clear communication skills, and the capacity to collaborate effectively within diverse teams are critical requirements.
