You will:
Partner with and empower line leader(s) to achieve the SQCDSM objectives—Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability, and Morale—for the lines, thereby ensuring process stability. Take an active role in DMS (Daily Management System) meetings at both the shift and line levels.
Responsible for overseeing the technology, process, and centerline configurations of the equipment, demonstrating a strong technical expertise in both the process and machinery; accountable for the Progressive Maintenance systems, operational workflows, and the associated Key Performance Indicators for the designated production lines, in addition to managing the Centerline Management systems; also responsible for the Repairs & Maintenance budget allocation for the line.
Develop, oversee, and implement preventive and time-based maintenance systems and plans for the production line(s), ensuring full ownership and accountability. Dedicate at least 50% of your time to cultivating the technical and maintenance competencies of shift technicians, empowering them to independently operate and maintain their equipment. Collaborate within the PM Pillar framework, taking full responsibility for all PM systems and work processes at the line level while also leading select initiatives at the departmental level.
Collaborate closely with the Asset and Reliability team to enhance systems and implement specialized maintenance initiatives; oversee Change Management processes for designated lines, ensuring the localization of spare parts and conducting thorough breakdown analyses to reduce Repair and Maintenance expenditures; serve as the designated site technology owner for the relevant departments and lines, representing them in both regional and global technology forums.
Assist with the implementation of new initiatives within VS and support the VS team; collaborate with the line leader to conduct internal and external benchmarking exercises and drive reapplication efforts; serve as the primary subject-matter expert for a specific component category while also providing training on project management-related topics for the plant personnel.
