Job Summary

As a Business Developer within Palm Pay’s Pay with Transfer team, your primary responsibility will involve spearheading business expansion by uncovering new market opportunities, onboarding high-quality merchants, and providing education to agents and merchants to boost product adoption.

We are seeking a highly motivated professional to oversee daily operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and in compliance with established standards. The role involves managing a diverse team, delegating responsibilities, and fostering a collaborative work environment to achieve organizational goals. Key duties include monitoring performance metrics, addressing operational challenges, and implementing process improvements to enhance productivity. Additionally, the position requires strong leadership skills, the ability to analyze data, and a commitment to maintaining high levels of accuracy and accountability. Candidates must possess excellent communication abilities and a proven track record in operational management.

Market outreach involves pinpointing and engaging with essential merchants across multiple industry verticals to promote PWT offerings, including merchant loans, strategic partnerships, and digital payment solutions. This role utilizes a variety of channels—such as digital directories, professional events, and trusted referrals—to expand reach and foster meaningful connections with high-potential prospects.

Develop and execute a strategic plan to engage prospective clients, cultivating meaningful relationships and coordinating meetings or product demonstrations to showcase the advantages of adopting Palm Pay’s integrated service offerings.

Conduct thorough evaluations of clients’ business processes, payment systems, and key challenges to pinpoint precise needs and obstacles, delivering customized solutions to address them effectively.

Craft persuasive presentations that effectively demonstrate Palm Pay’s services, emphasizing key features, functionalities, and ROI, specifically tailored to address the distinct needs of each merchant—particularly Key and High-quality merchants.

Demonstrate expertise, reliability, and responsiveness to forge and sustain long-term partnerships with pivotal decision-makers within client organizations.

Skilled at facilitating discussions to finalize pricing, contractual terms, and agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes while maintaining alignment with organizational standards and policies.

Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including product development and customer support, to resolve client inquiries, provide technical expertise, and facilitate smooth service implementation.
