As a Business Developer within Palm Pay’s Pay with Transfer team, you will be instrumental in accelerating business growth by uncovering new opportunities, onboarding high-quality merchants, training agents and merchants, and boosting product adoption.
Job Responsibilities
Market Research and Outreach: Pinpoint and engage with high-priority merchants across multiple industry verticals to promote PWT services, merchant financing, strategic partnerships, and digital payment solutions, utilizing a range of channels including virtual directories, sector-specific events, and professional referrals.
Initiate strategic outreach to prospective clients, cultivating meaningful relationships and coordinating meetings or product demonstrations to effectively showcase the advantages of adopting Palm Pay’s full range of services.
Conduct in-depth evaluations of clients’ business operations, payment systems, and key challenges to pinpoint precise needs and obstacles, subsequently delivering customized solutions to address them.
Craft compelling, customized presentations that effectively showcase Palm Pay’s services, emphasizing their key features, functionalities, and potential ROI—tailored specifically to the distinct needs of each merchant, including Key and High-quality accounts.
Develop and maintain strong, long-term connections with influential stakeholders in client organizations by showcasing deep industry knowledge, consistent dependability, and timely communication.
Lead negotiations on pricing, terms, and agreements to finalize deals successfully while ensuring stakeholder satisfaction and strict compliance with company policies.
Collaborate closely with internal teams—including product development and customer support—to resolve client inquiries, contribute technical expertise, and facilitate the smooth deployment of selected services.
