Job Summary

Our client is in search of a highly motivated and outcome-focused Sales Executive specializing in building materials to elevate the performance of the sales team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for spearheading revenue growth initiatives by providing strong leadership, implementing strategic plans, and cultivating key client relationships.

Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve organizational objectives, ensuring alignment with company goals and regulatory standards. Oversee daily operations to maintain efficiency, productivity, and high-quality output. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, enhance communication, and foster innovation. Identify and mitigate risks through proactive monitoring and data-driven decision-making. Lead and mentor employees to cultivate a high-performance culture and drive professional growth. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess progress and implement corrective actions as needed. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, policies, and ethical guidelines to uphold organizational integrity.

Effective communication abilities are essential for this role.

Proficient familiarity with the range of building materials and products available within the Nigerian construction market.

Possesses comprehensive understanding of product specifications, features, and benefits, alongside detailed awareness of market competitors’ offerings, strategies, and positioning to inform strategic decision-making and enhance competitive advantage.

Sales reporting and forecasting involve analyzing historical data and current market trends to predict future sales performance. This role requires the ability to interpret complex datasets, identify key patterns, and generate accurate projections that inform strategic business decisions. Proficiency in data analysis tools, spreadsheet software, and forecasting methodologies is essential to deliver reliable insights and support the sales team in achieving its targets.

Demonstrates exceptional ability to negotiate effectively and persuade stakeholders with compelling arguments and strategic communication.

Effectively comprehending and articulating product details is essential.

The incumbent will collaborate closely with the sales team to manage reporting activities and ensure seamless coordination. This role entails overseeing reporting processes and facilitating effective communication between departments to support sales initiatives.

A solid understanding of industry dealers is essential.

You will participate in industry trade shows and conduct site visits for projects as needed.

Achieve and surpass assigned sales objectives.

Seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, complemented by a minimum of three years of experience in software development or a closely related discipline. Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ is essential, alongside expertise in software design principles and algorithms. Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills are required. The ideal applicant should demonstrate a capacity for teamwork, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning in a dynamic technological environment.

A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related discipline is required, with a Master’s Degree serving as a favorable qualification.

A minimum of five to ten years of progressive sales experience is required.

Proven ability to articulate ideas clearly and effectively through both written correspondence and oral presentations.

Requires a proven track record in sales management within the Tiles sector.

Proven ability to communicate persuasively and build strong interpersonal relationships is required.

Proven capability to cultivate new business opportunities and secure additional clients is essential.
