Job Summary:

The Blocks Production Officer will collaborate with the Production Officer to manage daily operations and manufacturing processes for MSHE building blocks and machinery. This position entails assisting in coordinating production schedules, maintaining quality control standards, resolving operational challenges, and contributing to the enhancement of production efficiency.

Oversee and execute core duties, including managing daily operations with precision, ensuring seamless workflow efficiency, and maintaining strict compliance with established protocols. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance productivity, while fostering a collaborative team environment that encourages innovation and accountability. Monitor performance metrics to identify areas for improvement, and coordinate cross-departmental efforts to align with organizational goals. Serve as a primary liaison for internal and external stakeholders, providing clear communication and resolving issues promptly. Additionally, mentor team members through professional development opportunities, promoting continuous growth and alignment with company values.

Collaborate with the Production Officer to manage the manufacturing team and ensure comprehensive oversight of the entire production process.

Assist in creating and executing production schedules to ensure alignment with customer requirements and adherence to project deadlines.

Oversee production operations to pinpoint enhancements in workflow efficiency, levels, and product quality.

Assist with establishing and enforcing quality control standards and procedures to verify that all products adhere to established specifications.

Investigate equipment malfunctions and coordinate with maintenance personnel to expedite resolution of technical issues.

Deliver training sessions and offer guidance to production personnel regarding correct operating procedures and established safety protocols.

Evaluate production metrics and compile detailed reports on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), which will be submitted to the Production Officer for review and strategic decision-making.

Perform regular inspections of machinery and equipment, identifying and reporting any faults or irregularities without delay.

Collaborate across departments, including Purchasing and Inventory, to synchronize production requirements effectively.

Suggest innovative strategies to optimize processes and bolster overall operational effectiveness through the introduction of fresh ideas.

Ensure adherence to all relevant safety protocols, environmental standards, and regulatory mandates.

Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, industrial engineering, or a comparable discipline is required.

Seeking candidates with two to three years of hands-on experience in block production and machinery troubleshooting.

Exceptional proficiency in problem-solving, analytical reasoning, and decisive action is essential.

Proven ability to communicate clearly and collaborate seamlessly with the production team to foster a productive and cohesive work environment.

Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is required.

Demonstrates exceptional capacity to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously, effectively prioritize workloads, and perform efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of accuracy and productivity.

Possesses a solid understanding of machinery operations and maintenance protocols.
