Job Summary:
Provide support for offshore operations and maintenance activities pertaining to Light Well Intervention Pressure Control Equipment and Well Abandonment Equipment.
Oversee a range of critical responsibilities to ensure seamless operations and optimal performance. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and overall organizational success. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align goals, streamline processes, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Maintain rigorous adherence to compliance standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices to mitigate risks and uphold accountability. Monitor key performance indicators, analyze data trends, and generate actionable insights to drive informed decision-making. Under the supervision of the shift Supervisor, the Intervention Services Technician will perform duties as outlined, ensuring adherence to established protocols and reporting directly to the designated authority.
Continue to enhance expertise in subsea equipment and operational procedures, promptly applying this knowledge as needed to support project requirements.
Engage collaboratively and independently with minimal oversight in executing the necessary steps for mobilizing and connecting Company-owned assets.
Operate machinery in strict accordance with established company protocols, procedural guidelines, and the specifications outlined in the well program.
Facilitate enhancements to existing operational procedures and equipment specifications.
Maintain all equipment according to the specifications outlined in the Planned Maintenance system, performing tasks independently.
Follow, interpret, and, when necessary, question written and verbal directives to ensure alignment with offshore operational protocols.
Continue expanding your offshore competencies by enhancing skills in environmental awareness, well control, rigging and lifting operations, risk assessment, reporting procedures, radio communication, and offshore etiquette.
Attend structured training sessions and successfully complete the mandatory accreditation process aligned with the specific competence standards essential for the role.
Available to work at any time as needed, provided adequate advance notice is given.
Seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, coupled with a minimum of five years of hands-on experience in the industry. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is essential, along with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Excellent communication skills are required to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. The ideal applicant must demonstrate a track record of delivering results under tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism.
Proficient in MIX and HP Riser configurations, with a strong understanding of their applications and functionalities.
Proficient in hydraulic control systems and the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HP (high-pressure) fittings, ensuring optimal performance and safety in fluid power applications.
Proficient in NOV and WOM PCE is required for this role.
Seeking candidates with a minimum of two years of hands-on well intervention expertise.
With a minimum of one year of hands-on experience in Helix well intervention subsea systems, candidates will have a solid foundation in the field.
