The AP Graduate Trainee Program serves as an energizing early-career pathway, strategically crafted to identify, cultivate, and accelerate outstanding graduates toward becoming future leaders in the energy industry.
Candidates must meet the following requirements to qualify for consideration: possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, a minimum of three years of verifiable experience in a related field, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screening. Proficiency in written and verbal English communication is essential, as is comfort working independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. A high school diploma or GED is required, with preference given to those holding an associate degree or higher. Prior experience in customer service, logistics, or operations is strongly preferred.
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university—preferably a Second Class Upper (2:1) division or higher—is required. Candidates should hold a degree in engineering (such as Chemical, Petroleum, Mechanical, Metallurgical, or Electrical) or a business-related field.
A minimum of five (5) O’ Level credits, including Mathematics and English Language, must be obtained in a single examination sitting.
Completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYC) program, accompanied by a valid discharge certificate, is required. Candidates must demonstrate flexibility and openness to relocating to various locations across Nigeria.
