The AP Graduate Trainee Program is an innovative early-career development scheme aimed at recruiting, cultivating, and accelerating high-potential graduates into tomorrow’s leaders within the energy industry.
Applicants must meet the following prerequisites to qualify for consideration. A minimum of five years of relevant professional experience is required, along with a bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with industry-specific tools and technologies is preferred, and candidates must be proficient in written and verbal English. Additionally, compliance with all legal and ethical standards is mandatory.
A bachelor’s degree with at least a Second Class Upper (2:1) division from an accredited university is required. Applicants must hold an undergraduate degree in engineering (chemical, petroleum, mechanical, metallurgical, or electrical) or a business-related field.
A minimum of five (5) O’ level credits, including Mathematics and English Language, must be obtained in a single sitting.
Completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYC) program, evidenced by a valid discharge certificate, is essential. Additionally, the candidate must demonstrate a readiness to relocate anywhere within Nigeria as required.
