Job Summary

The Finance Staff will provide essential support to the finance department by performing a range of financial duties, such as conducting detailed financial analysis, developing accurate forecasts, and preparing comprehensive financial reports.

This position presents an excellent opportunity for recent graduates seeking to develop their skills and knowledge in the finance sector.

Oversee and execute a diverse range of critical tasks, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry standards. Manage and maintain systems, processes, and infrastructure to support operational efficiency and effectiveness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement, streamline workflows, and enhance overall productivity. Monitor performance metrics, analyze data, and generate actionable insights to drive informed decision-making. Provide leadership and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous growth. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety protocols, and best practices at all times.

Prepare financial reports by providing support and contributing to their compilation and accuracy.

Facilitate the development and maintenance of budget preparation and monitoring procedures.

Responsibilities include managing the preparation, verification, and processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports to ensure accuracy and timely execution.

Provide support in reconciling bank statements with corresponding accounts to ensure accuracy and alignment.

Maintain accurate financial records and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.

Engage in audit processes and verify adherence to established internal policies.

Offer comprehensive administrative assistance to the finance team, ensuring efficient operational workflows and seamless coordination of daily tasks.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related discipline, coupled with one to three years of professional experience, is required.

Corps members who are currently serving in the National Youth Service Corps (NYC) are strongly encouraged to submit their applications.

Demonstrated proficiency in analytical reasoning and meticulous attention to detail are essential for this role.

The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

Proven ability to communicate effectively and establish strong interpersonal relationships is essential.

Proven capability to function autonomously while also collaborating effectively within a group setting.
