Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documents.
Record daily financial transactions and update accounting systems.
Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
Process invoices, payments, receipts, and expense claims.
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Support budget preparation and financial forecasting.
Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations.
Assist with internal and external audits.
Prepare payroll information and statutory remittances where required.
Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
3–6 years of accounting experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
Knowledge of Nigerian financial regulations and tax requirements.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or ATS (or currently pursuing one).
Experience working with accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, or Tally.
