Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a closely related discipline is required, along with a Higher National Diploma (HND) qualification.
We are seeking candidates who are currently participating in the National Youth Service Corps (NYC) program or have recently concluded their mandatory orientation camp experience.
Professional accounting knowledge is essential for this role. Candidates should possess a foundational understanding of accounting principles, practices, and financial reporting standards. Proficiency in basic accounting tasks, such as reconciling accounts, managing ledgers, and processing transactions, is required. Familiarity with common accounting software and tools is also beneficial.
Proven expertise in Microsoft Excel is a fundamental requirement for this position. Candidates must demonstrate advanced skills in utilizing Excel’s features, including data analysis, complex formulas, and pivot tables, to efficiently manage and interpret large datasets. Strong proficiency in creating charts, graphs, and automated reports is also expected, along with the ability to optimize spreadsheet functions for enhanced productivity and accuracy.
Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward continuous learning and skill development.
Residency within Lagos is a mandatory requirement for this role, which is conducted remotely.
