Job Summary:

The Junior Accountant will assist the finance team by overseeing daily financial operations concerning inventory transactions, processing and reconciling financial entries, compiling analytical reports, and maintaining accurate financial records and regulatory compliance.

Oversee a range of critical duties, including the development and implementation of strategic initiatives, management of cross-functional teams, and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Facilitate efficient operational workflows by coordinating resources, monitoring performance metrics, and addressing any deviations to maintain productivity and quality standards. Serve as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing clear communication, resolving escalated issues, and fostering collaborative partnerships to drive project success. Additionally, analyze data trends, prepare detailed reports, and recommend actionable improvements to enhance decision-making and business outcomes.

Oversee routine financial activities associated with the transportation of merchandise.

Accurately process and document all financial transactions with precision to maintain comprehensive and error-free records.

Compile and oversee financial reports and documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Responsibilities include verifying and matching invoices, receipts, and other financial documents for accuracy and completeness.

Conduct comprehensive cost evaluations for products and supply chain operations to identify efficiency opportunities and optimize expenditures.

Maintain accurate financial documentation and adhere to established company policies to ensure compliance.

Provide support for financial monitoring pertaining to inventory management.

Assist the accounting team in fulfilling various financial responsibilities as delegated.

We seek candidates who possess a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, along with a minimum of five years of experience in a comparable role. Proficiency in project management software and strong problem-solving abilities are essential. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required, as is the ability to collaborate effectively within a team. Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards is a must. Additionally, applicants should demonstrate a track record of meeting deadlines and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.

An HND or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Banking & Finance, or an equivalent discipline is required.

Proven expertise in financial management and analytical capabilities is essential.

Proven expertise in supply chain management with a solid grasp of operational processes and strategic coordination across the supply chain network.

Proven expertise in effective communication and analytical problem-solving.

Possesses exceptional attention to detail and robust organizational capabilities, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.
