"Africa’s leading aerial fiber optic network infrastructure provider."
Phase3 Telecom stands as Africa’s premier provider of aerial fiber optic network infrastructure, offering cutting-edge connectivity and network solutions to the continent’s leading telecom networks, internet service providers, and an expanding base of businesses and households.
Established in 2003, Phase 3 secured its license as a national long-distance operator in 2006 to deliver transmission services. Since then, the company has constructed and now fully operates a 7,000-kilometre open-access aerial fiber optic network, leveraging its exclusive right-of-way along Nigeria’s power transmission infrastructure.
Continuously expanding its reach within Nigeria, Phase 3 is also collaborating with the ECOWAS Secretariat to extend its footprint across West Africa through the Intercom II initiative, a project recognized by the ITU as pivotal to the Connect Africa initiative, ensuring seamless interconnectivity across the sub-region.
In addition, Phase 3 is broadening its service portfolio, evolving from a provider of transmission and backhaul solutions to a comprehensive suite of enterprise and retail offerings. These innovations bring world-class internet access directly to businesses and homes across Nigeria.
