Their responsibilities include reviewing work papers, identifying control deficiencies, and providing actionable recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate risks. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting principles, and the ability to interpret complex financial data are essential. Additionally, they must possess exceptional communication skills to articulate findings clearly and manage stakeholder expectations effectively. A minimum of three to five years of relevant audit experience and a professional certification, such as CPA, are often required.
