Job Summary
We are in search of a proactive, results-driven, and seasoned Sales Manager / Sales Executive to spearhead the expansion of our tile product sales across the Nigerian building materials sector. The preferred candidate should demonstrate deep expertise in tile products, adeptness in dealer management, proficiency in contractor engagement, and a proven track record in market development.
Oversee and execute a range of critical duties including strategic planning, team leadership, and operational oversight to drive organizational success. Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure alignment with company objectives and foster a culture of innovation and accountability. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and performance metrics to enhance efficiency and productivity across the organization. Monitor industry trends and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. Manage budgets, allocate resources, and optimize financial performance to meet fiscal targets. Lead initiatives that promote employee engagement, professional development, and a positive workplace environment. Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards while mitigating risks and addressing operational challenges. Serve as a key liaison between senior management and teams to facilitate clear communication and decision-making processes.
Create and execute high-impact sales strategies designed to consistently meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
Drive sales and actively promote an extensive range of premium floor tiles, wall tiles, porcelain tiles, ceramic tiles, and complementary building materials to potential customers and industry partners.
Evaluate and cultivate emerging business prospects within the building materials and construction sector to drive growth and expand market presence.
Broaden dealer, distributor, and contractor networks within designated territories to enhance market coverage and presence.
Prospects will be pursued through on-site market visits, ongoing project tracking, strategic referrals, and active customer engagement to cultivate high-quality leads.
Develop and sustain robust partnerships with dealers, distributors, contractors, builders, architects, engineers, and construction firms to ensure seamless collaboration and mutual growth.
Frequently conduct on-site visits to dealers’ establishments and project locations to assess product application and track evolving market dynamics.
Handle customer concerns promptly and professionally to uphold exceptional service standards and maintain high levels of satisfaction.
Educate customers regarding the features, benefits, designs, and proper application methods associated with the product.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports while monitoring sales performance in relation to established targets.
Collaborate effectively with various internal departments such as logistics, warehouse operations, accounts, and customer service to ensure seamless workflows and alignment of objectives.
Track inventory levels and ensure accurate processing of customer orders.
Proactively represent the company at trade exhibitions, industry events, and marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
Perform on-site evaluations of project locations to identify and cultivate potential sales prospects.
We spearhead promotional initiatives to elevate brand recognition and drive product adoption among target audiences.
Seeking a highly motivated professional with exceptional communication skills and a proven track record in project management. The ideal candidate must possess at least five years of experience in a similar role, along with proficiency in industry-standard software and tools. Strong analytical abilities and the capacity to lead cross-functional teams are essential. A bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field is required, and relevant certifications are highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines are also necessary.
A bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, or a closely related field is required.
With a minimum of five years of hands-on sales experience in tiles, building materials, ceramics, sanitary ware, or related product categories, the ideal candidate will bring a strong track record of success in driving revenue and building client relationships within these specialized markets.
Possesses extensive expertise in the Nigerian building materials and tiles sector, including comprehensive market insights and industry trends.
A strong knowledge of tile specifications, design principles, applications, and current market trends is essential for success in this role.
Demonstrates a thorough understanding of competitor offerings and their strategic positioning within the market.
Exceptional ability to communicate clearly, negotiate effectively, and deliver compelling presentations.
Demonstrated expertise in the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, is required.
