Job Summary:

The Insurance & Claims Officer will oversee the administration and coordination of all corporate insurance policies, guaranteeing timely renewals, accurate documentation, and streamlined claims processing. This position requires close collaboration with insurance brokers and providers to secure optimal coverage and expedite claims resolution in alignment with organizational needs.

Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of duties encompassing strategic planning, team leadership, and operational efficiency to ensure organizational objectives are met. Lead cross-functional initiatives, foster collaboration among departments, and drive performance through data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance productivity, quality, and compliance with industry standards. Monitor key performance indicators, analyze trends, and present actionable insights to senior management to support informed decision-making. Serve as a liaison between executive leadership and operational teams, translating high-level goals into actionable plans and ensuring alignment across all levels of the organization.

Maintain a current and comprehensive register encompassing all company insurance policies, including but not limited to motor, plant & machinery, contractors’ all risk, and group life coverages.

Monitor policy expiration dates diligently and coordinate renewal actions to prevent any interruptions in coverage.

Collaborate with insurance brokers and carriers to facilitate policy placement, renewal processes, and endorsement requests.

Coordinate and oversee all insurance claims to guarantee efficient processing and prompt settlement.

Collect and file all necessary documentation for claims processing, including incident reports, photographs, and repair estimates.

Track claims progress and deliver consistent status reports to leadership.

Verify that all insurance certificates and documents are accurately filed and readily available for quick reference.

Assist project teams in managing insurance-related documentation and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Examine insurance policies to verify compliance with organizational practices and contractual commitments, ensuring thorough alignment with all relevant parameters.

Aid in the review and validation of insurance stipulations within contractual documents and formal agreements.

Deliver regular updates regarding insurance coverage, renewal schedules, and claims progress.

Seeking a skilled professional with expertise in project management and a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams. Candidates must possess strong analytical skills, proficiency in data analysis tools, and at least five years of experience in a related field. The role demands excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, to effectively convey complex ideas to stakeholders. A bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or a related discipline is required, with an advanced degree preferred. Familiarity with industry-specific software and adherence to regulatory compliance standards are essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget while maintaining high standards of quality.
