We are in search of an accomplished Plant & Equipment Manager to spearhead our Plant & Equipment Business Unit, responsible for directing a vast fleet of heavy construction machinery integral to significant road and civil infrastructure initiatives.
This pivotal leadership position entails comprehensive accountability for fleet operations, asset lifecycle oversight, maintenance strategy formulation, equipment deployment, workshop efficiency, cost optimization initiatives, and the overarching profitability of the business unit.
The ideal candidate will oversee fleet availability, optimize asset utilization, enhance maintenance reliability, and strategically manage equipment investments while demonstrating strong leadership across both workshop and field operations to ensure seamless project execution and operational excellence.
Requirements:
Holders of a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable field, are required.
CORE Registration is a compulsory requirement for this position.
Seasoned professional with over 15 years of expertise in overseeing heavy construction machinery and equipment operations.
Seasoned professional with extensive expertise in directing substantial equipment fleets for road construction, civil engineering, or infrastructure initiatives.
Individuals should possess comprehensive proficiency in fleet management, maintenance planning, workshop operations, and asset lifecycle management.
Accomplished expertise in managing expenditures, overseeing financial allocations, optimizing resource allocation, and driving enhancements in operational efficiency.
