Design, installation, and maintenance of distribution systems, motor control centers (MCCs), cables, lighting, earthing, and lightning protection systems are integral responsibilities within this role.
Perform thorough site inspections and comprehensive technical audits to verify full adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and all project requirements.
Evaluate project advancements and offer expert technical insights to support the certification of contractor payments.
Evaluate potential technical risks, ensure adherence to standards, and address any quality-related issues.
Draft assurance reports and formulate recommendations to enhance organizational processes and controls.
Candidates must fulfill the following qualifications: a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as business, marketing, or communications, coupled with a minimum of three years of professional experience in a related industry. Proficiency in industry-standard software, including Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms, is essential. Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal abilities are required to thrive in this role. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are a must, as the position demands frequent collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Familiarity with digital marketing tools, data analysis techniques, and project management principles is highly beneficial. A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Power Engineering, or a closely related field is required.
Professional registration with a recognized body such as the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (CORE), the Institution of Professional Engineers (PE), the Engineering Council (UK), or an equivalent regulatory authority is required.
Associate Level candidates should possess a minimum of six years of pertinent experience, while Consultant Level candidates require at least twelve years of relevant expertise in industrial, oil & gas, petrochemical, refinery, fertilizer, power generation, transmission, or major infrastructure projects.
Proficient in electrical systems encompassing high-voltage (HV), medium-voltage (MV), and low-voltage (LV) networks, as well as substations, switchgear, transformers, protection systems, and power distribution.
Possesses a comprehensive understanding of IEC, IEEE, NFPA, and other pertinent industry standards.
Consulting, Owner’s Engineering, EPC/EPCM delivery, third-party inspection, project assurance, or technical audit experience would be particularly valuable.
Certified professionals holding relevant credentials are highly desired, including but not limited to industry-recognized certifications such as PMP, CISSP, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
Seeking professionals with credentials such as PMP, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, BOSH, IEEE Membership, Electrical Safety Certification, or Protection & Control Certification, or equivalent qualifications.
