Job Summary

The Medical Officer is tasked with delivering comprehensive primary healthcare services, overseeing the wellbeing clinic, and enforcing adherence to occupational health and safety regulations.

This position contributes to the organization’s health goals by providing preventive care services, conducting medical consultations, and responding to emergencies.

Oversee and execute a range of critical responsibilities to ensure operational efficiency and team productivity. Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with organizational objectives while fostering collaboration across departments. Monitor performance metrics and provide data-driven insights to enhance decision-making processes. Lead cross-functional initiatives, delegate tasks effectively, and ensure adherence to company policies and industry regulations. Maintain open communication channels to address team concerns, promote professional growth, and uphold a positive work environment. Additionally, collaborate with senior leadership to align departmental goals with broader business strategies, driving sustainable growth and innovation.

Perform comprehensive evaluations and physical examinations of patients to assess their medical conditions thoroughly.

Diagnose and manage a wide range of medical conditions, injuries, and illnesses to provide comprehensive patient care.

Create and execute individualized treatment strategies tailored to each patient’s unique needs and health objectives.

Administer medications as prescribed and carefully evaluate patient responses to treatment, adjusting therapy as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

Execute essential medical and surgical interventions as dictated by clinical necessity.

Provide patients and their families with comprehensive information regarding medical conditions and available treatments to enhance their understanding and support informed decision-making.

Ensure all patient medical records are meticulously maintained and kept current at all times.

Work collaboratively with diverse healthcare professionals to facilitate comprehensive patient care coordination.

Remain updated on the latest advancements in medical protocols and therapeutic approaches.

Deliver primary care interventions and manage initial responses to medical and surgical emergencies effectively.

Proficient in operating point-of-care diagnostic tools, including STAT devices and ECG machines, is essential.

Foster a collaborative team environment to manage intricate treatment plans effectively.

Prepare comprehensive medical documentation, including detailed reports and discharge summaries.

Provide essential healthcare services to patients in need.

Provide care at designated wellness facilities as scheduled.

Comply with established medical protocols, industry standards, and regulatory requirements at all times.

Execute additional duties as assigned by the team lead and Medical Director, ensuring alignment with established protocols and objectives.

Requirements

Obtained a Medical Degree, specifically an MBBS or equivalent qualification, from an institution accredited by the relevant medical authority.

Completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYC) is an essential prerequisite for this position.

Seeking candidates with between five and seven years of hands-on clinical experience, demonstrating a strong foundation in patient care and medical procedures. The ideal applicant will possess a proven track record in delivering quality healthcare services, with expertise in managing diverse clinical scenarios.

Must possess a valid and active medical license to practice medicine.

Proven expertise in clinical assessment and diagnostic evaluation is essential.

Proficient expertise in advanced life support procedures is required.

Computer literacy is a prerequisite. Demonstrates exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Empathy and compassion must be consistently demonstrated in interactions with patients.
