Job Summary
We are in search of a proactive and achievement-driven Sales and Marketing Executive to spearhead business expansion efforts across Bayes and Barri.
The ideal candidate will identify emerging market opportunities, cultivate and maintain client relationships, implement sales strategies, and enhance overall brand performance across the region.
Oversee a broad range of duties to ensure operational efficiency and team productivity, including managing daily workflows, coordinating project timelines, and delegating tasks to team members. Monitor key performance indicators to assess progress and address any deviations promptly. Facilitate effective communication between departments to align goals and resolve cross-functional challenges. Develop and implement strategies to enhance workflow processes, reduce inefficiencies, and optimize resource allocation. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff, fostering professional growth and skill development. Maintain accurate documentation and reporting to support data-driven decision-making and compliance with organizational policies.
Identify and cultivate innovative business prospects within the Bayes and Barri markets to broaden the customer base and enhance revenue generation.
Forge and sustain robust, enduring partnerships with pivotal clients, wholesalers, and distributors to bolster customer loyalty and satisfaction.
Develop and execute sales strategies to consistently achieve or surpass established sales targets while maintaining optimal product availability and visibility throughout the designated territory.
Analyze market trends, competitor actions, and customer behavior to generate data-driven insights that inform and enhance sales and marketing initiatives.
Deliver engaging product presentations, organize and execute strategic roadshows, and engage in promotional initiatives aimed at enhancing product visibility and driving sales growth.
Prepare detailed and punctual reports for management regarding sales performance, market activities, stock levels, and customer feedback.
Collaborate with internal teams, including logistics and customer service, to facilitate the prompt delivery of products and address client concerns effectively.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required for this role. Candidates must possess at least three years of experience in software development, preferably with expertise in Python, Java, or C++. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are essential. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus. Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting are also necessary. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for continuous learning and innovation in technology.
A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline—such as an OND, HND, or B.Sc.—is required.
Requires a minimum of two years of hands-on experience in field sales, ideally in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) or food manufacturing sectors.
Proven expertise in navigating the Lagos market, coupled with a deep understanding of its distribution networks.
Proficient in fostering strong interpersonal relationships, articulating ideas clearly, and effectively negotiating agreements.
Efficient self-management and independent work capabilities are essential.
Demonstrates strong competency in utilizing MS Office applications and fundamental reporting tools effectively.
