The ideal candidate will be tasked with designing and delivering dynamic lessons in Business Studies and National Values Education (EVE), fostering students’ academic excellence, ethical growth, and personal development.
Spearhead the implementation of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives while fostering cross-functional collaboration. Oversee daily operations to maintain efficiency and productivity, identifying opportunities for process improvements. Develop and execute actionable plans to enhance performance metrics, mitigating risks through proactive problem-solving. Lead and mentor a high-performing team, cultivating a culture of accountability and continuous growth. Maintain open communication channels with stakeholders to align expectations and drive collective success.
Deliver instructional sessions in accordance with established teaching frameworks, approved lesson plans, and institutional guidelines.
Utilize contemporary, student-centered instructional strategies to deliver Business Studies and National Values Education (EVE) in an impactful and engaging manner.
Develop comprehensive lesson notes, assignments, class activities, tests, and examination materials aligned with established curriculum standards.
Monitor student learning outcomes and evaluate the efficacy and thoroughness of instructional strategies and curriculum designs, offering constructive feedback to enhance educational delivery.
Collaborate with the Remedial Teacher to assess students with special learning needs and craft tailored intervention strategies.
Enforce classroom discipline by implementing approved disciplinary measures for minor infractions and ensure that significant disciplinary issues are reported without delay to the Sectional Head.
Deliver compassionate pastoral care while fostering the holistic growth of students in their academic, social, moral, and emotional dimensions.
Evaluate and grade students’ classwork, tests, projects, assignments, and examinations with precision and timeliness.
Continuously track and document students’ progress, behavior, and accomplishments to provide timely updates and insights.
Implement and sustain open, constructive dialogue with parents or guardians to ensure they remain informed about their children’s academic progress and overall well-being.
Foster a collaborative and supportive learning atmosphere while encouraging teamwork throughout the school community.
Actively engage in staff meetings, school programs, trainings, and extracurricular activities to contribute meaningfully to the school community.
We seek applicants with a minimum of three years of relevant experience in the field, along with proficiency in industry-standard software tools. A bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent professional certifications is required, demonstrating both technical competence and formal education. Strong interpersonal and communication abilities are essential for collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Additionally, candidates must exhibit problem-solving acumen and adaptability to evolving project demands.
A bachelor’s degree in Business Education, Economics, Educational Management, Social Studies, or a closely related field is required.
Holding TRCN certification is considered an additional asset.
Requires a minimum of three years of teaching experience within a secondary educational setting.
Demonstrates a deep understanding of the Business Studies and National Values Education curricula, ensuring alignment with educational standards and learning objectives.
Good classroom management and communication skills.
