We are looking for a skilled, enthusiastic, and student-focused CRS & History Teacher to strengthen our secondary school faculty. The ideal candidate will design and present dynamic lessons in Christian Religious Studies (CRS) and History while fostering students’ intellectual growth, ethical awareness, and personal integrity.

Oversee and execute critical operational duties, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and maintaining high standards of performance. Develop, implement, and monitor strategic initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and overall business growth. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, resolve challenges, and drive continuous improvement across departments. Lead and mentor a diverse workforce, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration. Analyze key performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for enhancement, providing data-driven recommendations to senior leadership. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and best practices to mitigate risks and uphold organizational integrity.

Facilitate instructional sessions aligned with established teaching frameworks, approved curriculum guides, and institutional policies to ensure consistent and effective delivery of subject.

Deliver high-quality instruction in Christian Religious Studies (CRS) and History through dynamic, student-centered teaching strategies that foster engagement and deep understanding.

Develop comprehensive lesson notes, assignments, projects, in-class activities, assessments, and examination materials that strictly adhere to established curriculum standards.

Evaluate students’ academic advancement and deliver constructive feedback regarding the efficacy and comprehensiveness of teaching strategies and instructional approaches.

To assess students requiring additional learning support and collaborate with the Remedial Teacher in crafting tailored intervention plans.

Maintain classroom order by enforcing established disciplinary measures and initiate appropriate corrective actions for minor infractions while ensuring major disciplinary concerns are reported without delay to the Sectional Head.

Offer compassionate pastoral care while fostering students’ holistic growth in academic achievement, ethical character, emotional resilience, and social engagement.

Accurately and promptly grade students’ assignments, tests, projects, and examinations.

Continuously track and document students’ academic progress, behavioral actions, and accomplishments, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.

Develop and sustain clear, professional communication with parents and guardians to provide updates on students’ academic performance and well-being as needed.

Foster a culture of integrity, ethical conduct, leadership development, and civic responsibility among students.

Foster a collaborative and supportive school environment through active participation in teamwork and positive contributions.

Contribute meaningfully to staff meetings, school events, professional development sessions, and extracurricular initiatives.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in Christian Religious Studies, History, Religious Studies, Education Arts, or an equivalent field is required.

Proficiency in obtaining the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) certification is required.

A minimum of four years of secondary school teaching experience is required.

Possesses a solid understanding of the CRS and History curricula, demonstrating familiarity with their frameworks and content.

Possesses exceptional ability to manage classrooms effectively and convey ideas with clarity. Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to foster productive learning environments through clear instruction and constructive communication.

Aptitude for motivating students both intellectually and ethically, fostering a positive and stimulating learning environment.
