Job Summary
The Inventory Officer/Cost Controller will oversee stock movements, uphold inventory precision, manage cost control measures, and ensure comprehensive documentation of all inventory-related transactions conducted within the store.
Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of critical duties encompassing core operational functions, strategic project management, and cross-departmental collaboration to drive organizational success. Serve as a pivotal point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and alignment with overarching business objectives. Lead initiatives that enhance efficiency, optimize workflows, and foster innovation while maintaining rigorous adherence to compliance standards and industry regulations. Monitor performance metrics, analyze data trends, and implement corrective actions to sustain continuous improvement and achieve key performance indicators. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, cultivating a culture of accountability, professional development, and high performance.
Daily inventory tracking and monitoring of stock levels are essential responsibilities.
Perform periodic inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies to ensure accurate stock levels and inventory records.
Accurately document and validate all incoming stock deliveries, inter-facility transfers, and outgoing product issuances.
Examine inventory variances and discrepancies, documenting findings thoroughly and accurately for reporting purposes.
Compile inventory and cost control reports ensuring accurate tracking and management of stock levels and associated expenditures.
Verify adherence to established inventory management protocols and internal control measures.
Partner with procurement, operations, and management teams to ensure inventory remains at ideal levels at all times.
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a comparable discipline is required.
A minimum of one to three years of hands-on experience in inventory management, stock control, or cost control is required, with a preference for candidates who have worked within the Food & Beverage industry.
Demonstrated expertise in leveraging Microsoft Excel for data analysis, spreadsheet management, and reporting tasks.
Demonstrates exceptional proficiency in analytical reasoning and quantitative analysis.
Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail and exceptional organizational proficiency.
Maintains the highest standards of integrity and accountability in all professional endeavors. Demonstrates unwavering commitment to ethical principles and takes full responsibility for actions and decisions.
