Job Summary
We are in search of a highly motivated and outcome-driven CMT Sales Executive to spearhead business expansion initiatives in Lagos.
The ideal candidate will drive new market development, cultivate client partnerships, implement sales strategies, and enhance regional brand performance.
Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of duties to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness, including managing day-to-day activities, coordinating team efforts, and implementing strategic initiatives. Develop and maintain meticulous records, reports, and documentation to support informed decision-making and compliance with organizational policies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align objectives, streamline processes, and drive continuous improvement across departments. Monitor performance metrics and key indicators to assess progress, identify trends, and implement corrective actions as needed. Serve as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing timely updates, resolving issues, and fostering productive relationships. Ensure adherence to industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices to mitigate risks and uphold organizational integrity.
Leverage strategic initiatives to uncover and cultivate emerging business prospects within the Lagos market, thereby broadening the customer portfolio and accelerating revenue generation.
Develop and sustain enduring partnerships with major clients, wholesalers, and distributors to strengthen customer loyalty and satisfaction.
Develop and execute sales strategies aimed at achieving and surpassing specified sales objectives, while maintaining consistent product availability and maximizing visibility throughout the assigned territory.
Analyze market trends, competitor actions, and customer behavior to generate actionable insights that inform and enhance sales and marketing strategies.
Deliver engaging product presentations, organize and manage roadshows, and actively engage in promotional initiatives designed to enhance product visibility and drive revenue growth.
Compile and present precise, up-to-date reports regarding sales performance, market developments, inventory status, and customer feedback for review by management.
Work collaboratively with internal teams such as logistics and customer service to facilitate the prompt delivery of products and effectively address client concerns.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Minimum of 5 years of software development experience, with proficiency in multiple programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to design scalable, efficient algorithms. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, and familiarity with DevOps practices such as CI/CD pipelines. Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to lead technical projects, mentor junior developers, and drive innovation within the team.
A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline is required.
With a minimum of two years of hands-on experience in field sales, ideally gained within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) or food manufacturing sectors.
Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of the Lagos market landscape and its intricate distribution networks.
Proven ability to foster strong interpersonal relationships, articulate ideas clearly, and adeptly negotiate solutions.
Demonstrates a strong capacity for autonomous work while maintaining precise time management skills.
Proven experience with MS Office applications and fundamental reporting tools is required.
The ideal candidate must be based in Lagos.
