Job Summary

The Medical Officer delivers essential primary healthcare services, oversees the operation of the wellbeing clinic, and upholds occupational health and safety regulations.

This position advances the organization’s health goals through the administration of preventive care services, medical consultations, and emergency response efforts.

The position involves overseeing and executing a range of critical tasks to ensure operational efficiency and compliance. Key responsibilities include managing project timelines, coordinating cross-functional teams, and maintaining accurate documentation for regulatory and internal audits. Additionally, the role requires identifying process improvements, mitigating risks, and ensuring adherence to company policies and industry standards. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Proficiency in relevant software and tools, as well as a commitment to continuous professional development, are also required to succeed in this role.

Perform comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients’ medical conditions through detailed examinations.

Diagnose and manage a wide range of medical conditions, injuries, and illnesses, providing comprehensive treatment and care to patients.

Design and execute individualized treatment regimens tailored to each patient’s unique needs and conditions.

Prescribe medications as needed and diligently monitor patient responses to treatment, ensuring optimal therapeutic outcomes and safety.

Conduct routine medical and surgical interventions as assigned.

Provide comprehensive education to patients and their families regarding medical conditions and available treatments.

Ensure all patient medical records are consistently maintained with the most current and precise information.

Partner with healthcare professionals across diverse disciplines to ensure seamless, coordinated delivery of patient-centered care.

Remain up-to-date with the latest advancements, standards, and evidence-based medical practices and therapies.

Handle a range of fundamental medical and surgical emergencies with efficiency and precision.

Proficient in operating point-of-care diagnostic tools, including STAT devices and ECG machines, to facilitate immediate and accurate patient assessments.

Implement a collaborative team-based strategy to manage intricate cases effectively.

Draft comprehensive medical documentation, including detailed reports and discharge summaries.

Provide essential healthcare services to patients in need of medical attention.

Provide care at designated wellbeing clinics as assigned by management.

Follow established medical protocols, standards, and regulatory requirements rigorously.

Execute additional duties as assigned by the team lead and the Medical Director.

Seeking a highly organized individual with exceptional attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Must possess a minimum of three years of experience in a similar role, along with proficiency in relevant software and tools. The ideal candidate should demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently, communicate clearly, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges are essential. A bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience is required. Familiarity with industry standards and compliance regulations is highly preferred.

Hold a recognized medical degree, such as an MBBS or equivalent, from an accredited educational institution.

Completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYC) program is a mandatory requirement.

With a minimum of five to seven years of practical clinical experience, candidates should possess a solid foundation in patient care and medical procedures.

Holds an active and unrestricted medical license in good standing.

Proven expertise in clinical assessment and diagnostic evaluation is required.

Proficient in advanced life support techniques is required.

Must possess strong proficiency in computer operations alongside exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
