Key Deliverables

The role involves overseeing and implementing production schedules to ensure timely and efficient manufacturing operations. Key responsibilities include coordinating with various departments to align resources, monitoring production progress, and addressing any bottlenecks or delays. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to analyze data to optimize workflows. Additionally, the role demands effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet production targets and maintain quality standards.

To ensure accurate forecasting of sales demand while maximizing the efficient use of resources and maintaining optimal operational costs.

Liaison with central and local procurement teams to ensure meticulous planning of raw and packing materials, thereby guaranteeing uninterrupted availability while simultaneously monitoring adherence to inventory standards.

Examine breakdowns systematically and implement corrective actions to enhance Overall Equipment Effectiveness (ONE).

Spearhead the AM Pillar team’s initiatives within the realms of WCM and Operational Excellence, while also providing guidance and assistance to other pillars on production-related demands.

Responsible for overseeing warehouses dedicated to raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods.

To uphold adherence to all Safety and Food Safety mandates throughout manufacturing operations, ensuring strict compliance with established protocols and regulatory standards.

Adhere strictly to all relevant regulatory and statutory obligations to maintain compliance with applicable laws and standards.

Analyze and track operating budgets to ensure financial performance aligns with established targets, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions as necessary.

Overseeing the recruitment, development, and retention of high-performing employees is a key responsibility. This role involves identifying top talent, conducting thorough interviews, and ensuring a smooth onboarding process. Additionally, it requires implementing strategies to foster employee growth, providing ongoing feedback, and addressing performance concerns proactively. Collaboration with leadership is essential to align talent management initiatives with organizational goals. The position also entails designing and delivering training programs to enhance skills and competencies across the team. Strong interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, and a results-driven mindset are necessary to excel in this role.

Evaluate production consumable requirements and confirm their consistent availability to support uninterrupted operations.

Analyze production consumable costs and verify compliance with established budgetary allocations.

Responsibilities include overseeing projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. The role requires coordinating cross-functional teams, managing stakeholders, and mitigating risks to achieve project objectives. Candidates must possess strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with proficiency in project management methodologies. Experience with tools such as MS Project, JIRA, or similar platforms is preferred. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience is required.

Responsibilities include collaborating with the engineering team to evaluate and select appropriate capacity, capabilities, technologies, and energy requirements for both operational expenditure (OPEX) and capital expenditure (Capex) projects as needed.

Deliver projects within specified timelines and budgets with the support of the Engineering Team.

Provide support during the commissioning and start-up phases of new projects.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Production Engineering from a recognized institution is required.

Seeking candidates with over a decade of tenure in reputable FMCG enterprises, ideally within bottling or aseptic dairy production, alongside at least three years in a leadership role as Head of Manufacturing or Production.

Experienced in operating and overseeing high-speed PET bottling lines as well as Tetra Pak packaging lines.

Hands-on experience in executing Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) or World Class Manufacturing (WCM)/Operational Excellence methodologies is essential. Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma principles would further enhance qualifications.

Skilled in overseeing production operations within a bottling facility, with a preference for aseptic dairy technology utilizing Tetra Pak and Side bottling systems.

Effective leadership and team development capabilities are essential, with a focus on fostering collaboration, guiding performance, and nurturing talent within the organization.

Proven capability to navigate and oversee multifaceted situations with precision and adaptability.

Demonstrated proficiency in analytical reasoning and the capacity to resolve complex issues efficiently.

Effective communication skills are essential for this role.

A strong aptitude for negotiation is essential, enabling clear and persuasive communication to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
