Verify the integrity and functionality of electrical installations, such as substations, transformers, switchgear, and power systems, to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards. Conduct thorough inspections, testing, and maintenance procedures to identify potential hazards, defects, or inefficiencies. Perform diagnostic assessments and troubleshooting to resolve issues promptly and recommend corrective actions when necessary. Ensure all work adheres to regulatory guidelines, industry best practices, and company protocols. Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and maintenance activities to support audits and reporting requirements.
Distribution networks, medium-voltage switchgear centers, cabling infrastructure, illumination systems, grounding networks, and lightning protection installations.
Perform comprehensive site inspections and technical audits to verify adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and all project requirements.
Ensure project advancement is accurately assessed and deliver expert technical guidance to support the certification of contractor payments.
Evaluate potential technical risks, deviations from required standards, and quality-related issues to ensure project integrity and compliance.
Compile assurance reports and deliver strategic recommendations to enhance organizational performance and mitigate risks.
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, along with a minimum of three years of professional experience in the specified area. Must demonstrate proficiency in key technical skills, including software proficiency, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. Familiarity with industry standards and best practices is preferred, and adherence to professional ethics and compliance protocols is mandatory.
A bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Power Engineering, or a closely related field is required.
Professional registration with recognized bodies such as CORE, PE, or Cent, or an equivalent credential, is required.
Associate Level candidates must possess a minimum of six years of pertinent experience, while Consultant Level applicants are required to have at least twelve years of relevant expertise in industrial, oil & gas, petrochemical, refinery, fertilizer, power generation, transmission, or major infrastructure projects.
Proficient in electrical systems encompassing high voltage (HV), medium voltage (MV), and low voltage (LV) networks, substations, switchgear, transformers, protection systems, and power distribution.
Proficient in adhering to IEC, IEEE, NFPA, and other pertinent industry standards.
Consulting, Owner’s Engineer, EPC/EPCM, third-party inspection, project assurance, or technical audit experience will be highly advantageous.
