Job Description

This professional will be tasked with covering sales territories encompassing Nigeria’s security agencies, judicial and court systems, federal and state universities, as well as specialized government institutions—including teaching hospitals, regulatory academies, and government-owned enterprises.

This region presents heightened deal complexity and extended procurement cycles, necessitating a commercially strategic executive rather than a mere relationship manager.

The position involves overseeing key operational tasks, ensuring adherence to established protocols, and maintaining efficient workflows. Key duties include managing project timelines, coordinating cross-functional teams, and resolving any arising challenges to meet organizational objectives. Additionally, the role requires meticulous attention to detail in data analysis, reporting, and compliance with industry regulations. Collaborative efforts with stakeholders, vendors, and internal departments are essential to achieve successful outcomes. The individual must demonstrate strong problem-solving capabilities and adaptability to dynamic business environments.

Your mandate encompasses securing government agencies, judicial bodies, and critical institutions, ensuring comprehensive protection and operational integrity to uphold public safety and institutional resilience.

Target institutions include the Nigeria Police Force, Department of State Services, National Intelligence Agency, and the Army/Navy/Air Force welfare and human resources systems, as well as federal and state High Courts, Appeal Courts, and the Supreme Court. Additionally, the scope encompasses federal and state universities and polytechnics, along with federal teaching hospitals and specialist medical institutions.

Candidates must possess a minimum of five years of relevant professional experience in a related field. A bachelor’s degree in a pertinent discipline is required, with advanced degrees preferred. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data are essential. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is necessary. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are also required. Prior experience in project management or leadership roles is highly advantageous. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing is required, preferably complemented by an MBA with a specialization in Marketing. Additionally, candidates must possess a minimum of eight years of experience in sales or commercial roles, specifically within Nigerian security agencies, the judiciary, universities, or specialist government institutions. Proven success in securing contracts valued at 50 million or more, directly negotiated with institutional heads, is essential.

Established professional connections at the IG, DG, VC, and Chief Justice levels across at least three target institution categories, maintained within the last 18 months.

Proven capability to effectively manage intricate and politically nuanced institutional procurement procedures is essential.

Proven expertise in commercial contract structuring is essential, enabling confident ownership and defense of pricing frameworks at the Board level.

Professional experience with government technology procurement, particularly within security or judicial domains, encompassing classified or restricted procurement procedures, is required.

Seasoned professionals with a proven track record in pricing governance or revenue operations within organizations generating revenue through multiple streams are encouraged to apply.

Interested candidates are invited to submit their applications through the designated application method.

Qualified applicants are encouraged to submit their resumes to adanne.osuagwu@gmail.com, ensuring the job title—such as “Chief Commercial Officer”—is included in the email subject line.
