Job Summary

The Medical Officer delivers comprehensive primary healthcare services, oversees the wellbeing clinic’s operations, and upholds occupational health and safety regulations with diligence.

This position enhances the organization’s health goals through the provision of preventive care services, medical consultations, and emergency response interventions.

Oversee a range of critical responsibilities encompassing strategic planning, operational execution, and performance evaluation to ensure organizational objectives are met. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement policies that enhance productivity, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. Monitor key performance indicators to assess progress, identify areas for improvement, and recommend data-driven solutions to senior leadership. Serve as a primary liaison between departments, facilitating seamless communication and alignment of goals to foster a cohesive working environment. Conduct regular assessments of team dynamics and workflows to optimize resource allocation and streamline processes. Lead initiatives aimed at talent development, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and best practices while maintaining a strong focus on risk mitigation and quality assurance. Prepare and present detailed reports to stakeholders, summarizing performance metrics, project statuses, and strategic recommendations for informed decision-making.

Perform comprehensive medical evaluations and physical examinations of patients.

Diagnose and manage a wide range of medical conditions, injuries, and illnesses with precision and expertise.

Design individualized treatment strategies tailored to each patient’s unique needs and circumstances.

Evaluate patient conditions and determine appropriate medication regimens, then closely observe and document any therapeutic effects or adverse reactions throughout the course of treatment.

Conduct essential medical and surgical procedures as needed.

Provide comprehensive information to patients and their families regarding medical conditions and available treatment options.

Ensure all patient medical records are maintained with precision and kept current at all times.

Work collaboratively with cross-functional healthcare teams to facilitate comprehensive patient care coordination.

Continuously monitor and stay abreast of the latest advancements in medical best practices and treatment protocols to ensure optimal patient care.

Provide initial medical intervention and manage straightforward medical and surgical emergencies.

Demonstrates proficiency in operating point-of-care diagnostic equipment, including STAT devices and ECG machines.

Facilitate a collaborative, team-oriented strategy for managing intricate treatment scenarios.

Prepare comprehensive medical documentation, including detailed reports and discharge summaries.

Deliver vital healthcare services with the highest standards of professionalism and expertise.

Provide support at designated wellness clinics as scheduled.

Comply with established medical protocols, standards, and regulatory requirements in all professional activities.

Execute additional duties as assigned by the team lead and Medical Director.

Seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least three years of hands-on experience in [specific area, e.g., project management, software development, etc.]. Proficiency in [specific tools, e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Python, data analysis software] is essential, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. The ideal applicant will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Additional requirements include excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. A medical degree, specifically an MBBS or an equivalent qualification, obtained from a recognized and accredited institution is required.

Completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYC) is a prerequisite.

Holds a current and valid medical license to practice.
