Job Summary:
Rayfield Medical Services Limited, a healthcare provider situated in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria, is currently seeking a Cashier to manage financial transactions and ensure meticulous record-keeping.
Oversee a range of critical duties including managing project timelines, allocating resources efficiently, and ensuring team collaboration aligns with organizational objectives. Payments received from patients and clients are documented and logged systematically.
Conduct daily reconciliations and ensure the accurate balancing of cash registers.
Compiles precise transaction documentation and generates thorough financial reports to ensure meticulous record-keeping and compliance with accounting standards.
Preparing and distributing receipts and invoices as necessary forms part of the role’s responsibilities, ensuring timely issuance and accurate record-keeping.

This role involves monitoring transactions, verifying documentation, and implementing controls to safeguard fiscal integrity while supporting operational efficiency and accountability within the healthcare setting.
Qualifications & Skills: Applicants must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, complemented by at least three years of hands-on experience in software development or systems engineering. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ is essential, along with expertise in database management systems like SQL or NoSQL. Strong problem-solving abilities, analytical thinking, and collaborative teamwork are required, as well as excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Familiarity with DevOps practices, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), and Agile methodologies will be advantageous.
A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a closely aligned discipline is required for consideration.
Requires a minimum of three years of experience in cashiering or billing roles, with a preference for candidates who have prior experience in the healthcare sector.
Proficiency in computer applications and Microsoft Office Suite is a fundamental requirement for this position.
Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail and a high degree of numerical precision.
