Overseeing the engineering team, the role ensures all capital projects meet technical specifications and statutory requirements upon delivery.

Diagnose and resolve frequent valve malfunctions, including leaks, mechanical breakdowns, and signs of deterioration, to ensure optimal system performance.

Assist in the disassembly and reassembly of valves to facilitate part replacement, cleaning, and maintenance procedures.

Conduct evaluations to assess valve performance, verifying that each valve aligns with the specified customer requirements.

Conduct routine testing on valves, including leak detection, pressure verification, and flow measurement.

Provide support in the maintenance and calibration of field instruments to ensure precise process control.

Skilled in utilizing Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, and MATLAB proficiently, with a strong ability to leverage these tools to enhance productivity and project outcomes.

A solid grasp of electrical codes and safety regulations is essential.

Seeking a candidate with a minimum of three years of experience in a related field, demonstrating expertise and proficiency in key tasks. The ideal applicant must possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is required, along with the ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights. Additional qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development. A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Instrumentation, Control Systems, or Process Engineering—or an equivalent qualification—is required.

Minimum of five to seven years of practical experience in valve calibration, flow measurement, instrumentation, and project management specifically within the oil and gas sector is required.
