We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to oversee a range of critical operational duties. The role involves coordinating project timelines, monitoring progress, and ensuring adherence to established deadlines, while also managing stakeholder communications to maintain transparency and alignment. Additional responsibilities include identifying process inefficiencies, proposing and implementing improvements, and maintaining comprehensive documentation of all activities. We require a candidate with proven experience in a similar capacity, strong proficiency in relevant software tools, and exceptional problem-solving skills to address challenges proactively.

We are responsible for negotiating and finalizing load agreements to designated destinations for our assigned fleet vehicles.

Ensure that drivers transport the precise quantity of clients’ products to the designated destinations punctually and in compliance with established delivery schedules.

Before assigning or releasing a truck to a driver, conduct a comprehensive and meticulous inventory verification to ensure accuracy.

Perform ad hoc asset inspections and conduct systematic monthly accessory reviews, documenting and reporting all findings with precision.

Oversee driver performance and act as the primary support resource for addressing any issues that may arise.

Collaborate with the tracking unit to meticulously monitor drivers in transit, guaranteeing adherence to delivery schedules and timely arrival at destinations.

Spearhead the planning, scheduling, costing, and allocation of routes and vehicles while maintaining operational flexibility to accommodate evolving customer demands.

Ensure compliance of all vehicles with applicable legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations, promptly escalating any discrepancies to the Operations Manager and proposing appropriate corrective measures as needed.

Resolve unexpected travel-related issues promptly and effectively, ensuring every challenge is addressed with the most suitable solution while leveraging these experiences to strengthen future trip preparations and risk mitigation strategies.

Oversee drivers’ conduct throughout each trip, promptly addressing any instances of non-compliance with established protocols.

Secure and uphold all necessary licenses, registrations, insurance coverage, emblems, and permits for company trucks. Address and resolve any issues that arise from on-trip citations promptly and effectively.

Ensure all waybills and related loading documents are accurately filed and submitted punctually to the accounts department.

Maintain accurate documentation of vehicle inventories, schedules, and fulfilled orders.

Perform thorough pre-departure and post-arrival inspections of trucks to detect any damages or defects, ensuring all issues are documented. Following this assessment, obtain a signed statement from the driver regarding the observed discrepancies and promptly relay the findings to the Operations Manager for further action.

Prepare and submit pertinent documentation and reports as needed.

Other duties may be assigned as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is the minimum educational requirement.

With a minimum of five years of hands-on experience in a comparable professional capacity.

Mandatory experience within a logistics or haulage enterprise is required.

Dynamic interpersonal abilities are essential, demonstrated by a strong aptitude for active listening, clear comprehension, and articulate communication to achieve favorable outcomes.

Proven ability to take initiative and manage multiple tasks efficiently with meticulous attention to detail.

Proficient in utilizing software applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint with a high degree of competence.

Proficient in English, both written and verbal, with exceptional fluency and strong communication abilities.
